The same three rules on every set.
Precision over volume
A finding has to clear three bars. Real, cited to the page it came from. Material, meaning it moves money or time. Non-obvious, meaning a competent estimator working the set would not already have caught it. Most of what a bid set contains fails at least one of the three and does not reach you. The report is short because the suppression is the work you are paying for.
Every finding is checkable
Each finding names the page, sheet or section it came from, so you can open the set and confirm it without taking our word for anything. Exposure is stated as a range, with the reasoning behind it shown, because a single figure presented as certainty would be false precision on a set nobody has bought out yet. Dispute a finding and we read it again against the documents. If we were wrong, we correct the report and say so.
Your documents stay here
Bid sets are read on our own machines, on our own network. Nothing is uploaded to a third-party service and nothing is processed on an outside vendor’s system. Confidential pricing, unreleased design documents and pre-bid strategy do not leave our custody at any point in the engagement.
Pythagoras provides construction document analysis and risk identification. We do not provide legal advice, and we are not the engineer or architect of record for any project. Accessibility findings are reported against ADA / 521 CMR; design decisions remain with the licensed professional who made them.
